Our Philosophy
Our goal is to allow children in the Langley, BC area to attend a Christian Pre-School that is dedicated to providing a safe, caring, and happy Christian-centred preschool environment allowing freedom for each child to grow at his or her own pace socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually. We value inclusiveness, multiculturalism, independence and dignity of all children and their families.
We believe children are unique individuals created by God and see each other as a gift from God.
By striving to be the preeminent Christian Pre-School in Langley, we feel that our service to the community is to enhance the children’s learning process and to meet their needs. We do this by allowing each child the opportunity to explore, to make choices, and to interact with other children and adults in the class, and by providing open-ended and structured activities.
Teaching Staff
Our Head teacher, Angela Bagg, is a licensed Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and First Aid certified. She completed her schooling at Langley College in 2003 and started working at St. Joseph’s Church Preschool in March 2004. She has experience working with children between the ages of 2½ – 12 in both a Preschool and Daycare setting. She is the manager of the facility and is responsible for the program development for Preschool and Out of School Care as well as the organization and administration of the Centre.
