Our Philosophy Statement

We believe children are unique individuals created by God and see each other as a gift from God.

Our goal is to allow children in the Langley, BC area to attend a Christian Pre-School that is dedicated to providing a safe, caring, and happy Christian-centred preschool environment allowing freedom for each child to grow at his or her own pace socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually. We value inclusiveness, multiculturalism, independence and dignity of all children and their families.

By striving to be the preeminent Christian Pre-School in Langley, we feel that our service to the community is to enhance the children’s learning process and to meet their needs. We do this by allowing each child the opportunity to explore, to make choices, and to interact with other children and adults in the class, and by providing open-ended and structured activities.

"St. Joseph's is a wonderful place for children to learn, grow and explore. The school provides a firm foundation for education grounded in their faith. The teaching staff are excellent, who provide a loving, caring environment. I would definitely recommend St. Joseph's to others."

"The teachers at St. Joseph's Church Preschool are kind and caring and really dedicated to helping each child thrive at their own pace. St. Joseph's has provided both our sons with a firm foundation - developmentally, academically and spiritually."

“We are truly fortunate and blessed that both of our children have been welcomed into the loving, stimulating and respectful environment at St. Joseph’s Church Preschool.  Thank you for loving them and helping them to grow and learn.”

"My son has been attending St. Joseph's Preschool since September.  As a first time participant, he adjusted quickly to the preschool environment.  I am pleased with the variety of topics discussed and the opportunity to engage with other children his age.  He continues to ask each morning if it is a school day, and celebrates when it is."
